A word from Brett Fifield, CEO at Hort Innovation

To our growers and industry partners,

Many growers across Australia are operating in a challenging environment, with ongoing cost pressures affecting day to day decisions and longer term planning.

We are listening carefully, learning from what you’re telling us, and using that feedback to inform how we prioritise our work.

As you read through this edition of Growing Innovation, I hope it provides some insight into the work underway across our industries and reinforces the strength, capability and opportunity across our sector.

Our focus remains on investing levy funds into research and development, marketing and trade that support productivity, demand and resilience - with a clear focus on long term value for Australian horticulture.

We’ll continue to stay connected and work together as conditions evolve.

Regards, Brett
